Mienai&#38;nbsp;is a Japanese concept that means “not visible”. It reflects an appreciation for what is subtle and not immediately apparent, the idea that an image can be shaped without losing its original presence. 


This approach shapes the way we work on post-production: refining each image with precision and restraint, while preserving its atmosphere, tone and character.


Working independently and in collaboration with photographers, creative teams and studios, we support projects across fashion, editorial, advertising and visual storytelling — especially those that require consistency, attention to detail and a coherent visual language over time.


Mienai operates both on individual projects and through ongoing post-production support, offering a reliable and thoughtful approach for teams who value continuity and long-term collaboration.

	01 / How do you work with confidentiality?We take confidentiality very seriously. Both to protect the work of our clients and ours. We are also open to working with confidentiality agreements (NDA) if necessary. 

02 / Do you accept make free-test?Yes, of course. We believe it is the best way to start collaborating with each other.
03 / What kind of files can i send?
We accept:

- EIPs (Capture One files with your corrections)

- RAWs + XMPs- TIFFs with or without any markups, corrections

- JPEGs high quality

Images can be sent with color corrections applied, but original image cannot be recreated from this version.

04 / Should i send you the images with my color correction?You can send either originals or color corrected ones as we have no requirements in here. If you already have a preferable color option, you can use it for retouching. Please bear in mind that after retouching we can’t completely recreate the original color. If you’re sending B&#38;amp;W it can’t be reverted to a color version once retouching is done without reworking the image.
05 / How can i send you the images?You can send your images the way you consider more comfortable to you. It can be Wetransfer, Dropbox, etc.
06 / Do you need my markups and notes? It is strongly advisable that you send all the possible information that can clarify your request at the very first stage of cooperation. References on retouching and color, markups, written or audio notes will help us fit perfectly to your style as well as precise further amends.
07 / Where are you based / located?
We’re located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.


08 / Do you work with fixed rates, or do you work by the project, and do you work with budget?Usually we work with per image rate which can be flexible depending on the complexity and type of the images. In some cases, we can negotiate the budget/fixed price for a project setting the amount of the images in advance.

09 / Are you familiar with composing images? (in other words composing images by including parts of other images)We can do compositions (such us placing or removing an object that was not in the original image, change backgrounds, fill borders of images)
We’re now actively exploring using AI images and tools for it.
We don’t develop 3D renders/backgrounds but we can work with them as final images for compositing.10 / Are you able to handle a large amount of images?We work with large number of images, discussing the details in advance to book this time for you.
We can deliver around 300 images / per project with full retouching/compositing and color correction. And around 1.000 with some more basic adjustments.
11 / Do you work solo or you have a team to cover overflow?
We have a creative team of 5 retouchers, a senior retoucher / supervisor, and Carolina Gulias as Head retoucher as well as project manager.

12 / On average how many images is a confortable number per day?It really depends on the complexity and other bookings but in general it’s about 10-50 images / per day.
13 / You can work with AI ? Yes, we can work with IA generated images + with IA tools. We are constantly connected with new developments to integrate them to our workflow.
